Quotations are subject to the animals being seen and given a full health-check, and a subsequent variation in price may be proposed in light of this – for instance, where the sheep are dirty/daggy, animals are wet or flyblown or flystruck (affected by myiasis), or where extra help in getting the sheep in is required. The client will of course be informed of any change in the quotation before the shearing proceeds.
